Kristine Farmer has a passion for elegant presentations and classic flavors, which guests of Victoria & Albert’s can experience in each distinctive loaf, exquisite pastry and signature confection she creates. The determined young woman, who grew up cooking in her family’s Iowa home, followed her calling to culinary school and then on to positions at several high-profile establishments. In 1988, she joined the original culinary team at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Over the ensuing 3 decades, Kristine crafted breads and desserts for several Walt Disney World Resort kitchens—much of this time under the guidance of Master Pastry Chef Erich Herbitschek. Today, overseeing her own bake staff, she enjoys inspiring the next generation of patissiers while delighting diners with her inspired desserts. Night after night, Kristine’s irresistible and unforgettable sweets serve as crowning touches on the sumptuous meals at Victoria & Albert’s—helping to set it apart as a AAA 5-Diamond Award-winning dining venue.
